Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Class XII or Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination.
OR

Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

Note – 1: Education Boards listed in Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) website as members, shall only be permitted.
Note – 2: Exact aggregate % of marks before decimal as written in the marks sheet of 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent OR calculated as per the rules of concerned Education Board shall only be considered (For example 49.99% should be taken as 49% and not to be rounded off to 50%).

Payscale details are

During training, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month shall be paid. On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Military Service Pay (MSP) shall be Rs. 26,900/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.

1. Indian Air Force offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN/NEPALESE CITIZENS from Districts of State of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura & Manipur to join as Airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Indian Air Force (Security) Trade will be held at Near Lake Gate, Air Force Station Borjhar, Guwahati (Assam) as per the selection programme given below.
2. The recruitment test shall be conducted from 6 AM onwards as per the details given below. Candidates (from districts of state of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura & Manipur) fulfilling the domicile requirements and eligibility conditions reporting upto 10 AM on 16 February 2020 and 19 February 2020 at Near Lake Gate, Air Force Station Borjhar, Guwahati (Assam) (rally venue) shall only be permitted to appear in the recruitment test.
